Join Us! Your Choice.
Whether you choose to attend in-person or via Facebook or YouTube, here’s what you can expect during our Sunday worship services:
First, whoever you are, whatever your story, you're welcome here! You’ll hear it in our language, our theology, our sermons, our songs, our readings and our prayers. All of this is chosen with “welcome” in mind.
Next, services run about an hour. Typically, our time together includes a welcome, some readings, some music, a sermon (usually by Pastor Matthew) and communion.
Sundays Are Just the Beginning
Peoples Church of Flint
believes in connections.
So, we are always looking for other ways to get together.
We have two book clubs that help us explore important topics and share ideas. (HINT: Join in even if you haven’t had time to read the books…though we’ll do everything we can to make them available…how cool is that!) One is held in-person and via Zoom on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. The other is on Thursday evenings on Zoom.
Plus, we have plans for events and activities throughout the year.
At the church.
In our neighborhood.
Around the community.
Some are spiritual.
Some are focused on social justice.
Some are just for fun and fellowship.
Check our calendar for more information. Return often for updates!
