Flint Art Walk Presents: "The Art of Protest"
Flint artists and community members are invited to raise their voices creatively at the March 13, 2026 Flint Art Walk, featuring the powerful and timely theme, "The Art of Protest."
Hosted at Peoples Church in downtown Flint, this interactive exhibit will spotlight protest signs as a dynamic form of artistic expression. Participants are encouraged to explore issues that matter most to them-local, national, or global-through bold visuals, compelling messages, and creative design.
Materials will be provided on-site for attendees to "art" their own protest signs, whether for upcoming demonstrations or simply to contribute to the evening's exhibit. This hands-on event is designed to celebrate free expression, civic engagement, and the long-standing tradition of protest art as a catalyst for change.
Community members who would like their protest sign to be included in the exhibit are encouraged to contact Mary at 810-964-8878 in advance. Protest signs may also be dropped off at Peoples Church between 5 PM and 6 PM, just prior to the exhibition.
Join us for an evening of creativity, conversation, and community connection as Flint artists tum passion into powerful visual statements.
Admission is free and open to the public.
